Comments: | The inspiration for this impression of a World War I battle field was John McCraes renowned poem, "In Flanders Fields". I tried to imagine the battle as seen from an observation post on a bright, sunny spring day, where the chaos of the battlefield contrasts sharply with the simplicity of the birds flight. |
