I have long been an admirer of artists of the first half of the Twentieth Century. Their creativity and exploration of various media are educational and inspirational. The 10 pieces in this webshow were inspired by 10 artists of the period. They are meant to evoke the styles of these artists without copying techniques or actual works. The pieces are tributes not imitations, reflecting my interest in Canadian nature.
