Debert Military Museum
History: | Debert Military Camp was erected in 1940 to fill part of the need for training and marshalling facilities for forces to be sent overseas. It was the final staging area for troops embarking from Halifax. It is now the site of a museum. Here is a Wikipedia article about the base. |
