Comments: Served as a Sgt. with the 90th Battalion Winnipeg Rifles from 1885 - 1890, taking part in the North-West Rebellion. He enlisted 22 Sep 1914, lying about his age by saying that he was 45 rather than 55. He served with the 8th Battalion and died of wounds 02 Mar 1916.
He is buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension - Nord, France.
