| Comments: | Wellington HE387 took off from RAF Leconfield at 2109 hrs 16 April 1943 with a crew of five for a bombing mission of Mannheim, Germany. Their load was six 500 lb bombs. The plane crashed at Couvron-et- Aumencourt (Aisne) 12 km NNW of Laon France. The crew was buried at Couvron-et-Aumencourt Communal Cemetery. Ivor Morgan is shown on the International Bomber Command memorial. |
